Elfin Lakes

A foggy Thanksgiving long weekend a couple of years ago. I’ve never snowshoed here in the winter but I know lots of people do. We camped the first night and stayed in the hut the second night as it was a rainy weekend and there was space. We also tried to find Mamquam Lake the second day but were either lost or too slow because we reached our turnaround time before we reached the lake. Had a great fried gnocchi and veggie dinner in the shelter and played sleeping bag charades (my words were bathtub races and drop-in volleyball

) with a bunch of characters we met there.
